With the news of Wicked in the West being canceled this year, we’re still hoping to have the Western Canada Bootblack contest. As this will require time to find the right fit for our contest, we don’t quite know when it will be as of yet.

As producer, I am reaching out to our broader bootblacking community, both in Canada and abroad, to determine the best way forward.

The fundraising at your event this past weekend (May 6th) for CHRE and the WCBB Travel fund was outstanding. This will allow our current titleholder Creature, and likely future title holders, to be able to share their message and learn from communities far and wide.

The donation of $1 872.50 will go a long way and we couldn’t me more appreciative.
